Courthouse Gallery: new work by Max Liboiron, January 30 – February 26. Opening Reception on Saturday, January 30, 4 – 6 pm.

 

Peoples Pixel Project, Screening & Award Ceremony: Change of venue: originally scheduled to take place at the Charles Wood Theater,  the festival will now will take place at Rock Hill Bakehouse Cafe, 19 Exchange Street, Glens Falls, on Saturday, February 6, 2010, starting at 7 pm. Peoples Pixel Project - 2nd Screening, Friday, February 19, 2010, starting at 7:30 pm. Because the 1st screening and awards ceremony sold out so quickly, we have scheduled a 2nd screening.  There will not be an award ceremony at this event, but we will view the top 3 finalist for each of the 6 categories . Bands n’ Beans, Sunday, March 7th, 2 – to 7 pm. Chili and music festival at Roaring Brook Ranch, Lake George, NY. Over 50 restaurants and individuals will compete in a chili cooking contest. Each of the 1000 or so expected attendees is able to vote for their favorite chili in both the restaurant and individual categories.  Bands 'n Beans has become the biggest party of the year in the north country, a sign of winter’s end and the beginning of spring. The music lineup includes Chris Ballini, Rich Ortiz & Friends, Tequila Mockingbirds, Stony Creek Band, Alan Payette Band, Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, Chain Lightning, Folding Sky, Phil Camp, and Big Medicine.

 

Courthouse Gallery: new work by Dana Clancy & Ben Schwab, March 13 – April 16. Opening Reception on Saturday, March 13th, 4 – 6 pm.

 

Spring Fling at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery in Lake George on Sunday, April 25, from 3 to 7 PM. There will be live music and a menu featuring roast pork. Tickets: $20. Adirondack Pub & Brewery is located on 33 Canada Street in Lake George Music by Tequila Mockingbirds. To purchase tickets call LGAP at (518) 668-2616.

 

Courthouse Gallery: new work by Michael Millspaugh, May 8 – June 11. Opening Reception on Saturday, May 1st, 4 – 6 pm.

 

Summer Sunset Cruise, June 17, 2010. A benefit for the Lake George Arts Project.  Come celebrate the solstice season aboard Lake George’s luxury cruise boat, The Adirondac!  This event includes a cruise along the lake, finger foods from area restaurants, live music, raffle prizes, and a silent auction with items and certificates from local businesses. Boarding at 6:30 pm, cruise from 7 to 9 pm.  Reservations required: Tickets $30, or $25 if purchased by Monday, June 14. Call 668-2616 for tickets/info.

and the Lake George Arts Project. 

 

Lake George Jazz Weekend:  September 17, 18 and 19, Shepard Park, Lake George.  Performance schedule:
Friday, September 17: Celebrating David Amram's 80th Birthday.  6 PM Reception at Shoreline Restaurant, FREE.  7 PM Cruise aboard the Adirondac with music by the David Amram Quartet, tickets $25.
Saturday, Sept. 18, 1 to 6 PM: Daniel Kelly Trio; David Amram Quartet ~ the first 80 years; The Randy Newman Project. 
Special Saturday evening performance
7:30 PM: Christian Scott Quintet.
Sunday, Sept. 19

Arts Project Golf Tournament: September 30, Top Of The World Golf Course, Lake George, NY.

 

Black Velvet Art Party: Saturday, November 6th, Roaring Brook Ranch, Lake George. Fundraiser for the Lake George Arts Project.  The event features a silent auction of original black velvet art from area artists, as well as art and fashion awards, dancing, live music, games, psychic readings, and more.

Courthouse Gallery: new work by Elizabeth Gilbert & Rebecca ShepardOpening Reception on Saturday, November 13th, 4 – 6 pm.

Peoples Pixel Project:  November 20, 2010 is the deadline for video entries. Winning videos will be screened on January 22, 2011, at the Charles Wood Theater.
