from the following fund-raising events help support the Lake George Arts
Project's many programs. These programs are presented free to the public and
include the Summer Concert Series in
Shepard
Park,
the Lake George Jazz Weekend, various workshops and presentations, and the
Courthouse Gallery exhibition series.

Bands 'n Beans:
the Lake George Arts Project celebrated its 18th annual festival of chili and music
at Roaring Brook Ranch on Sunday, March 8, 2009.
Approximately 50 restaurants and individuals made chili for the event, over
1000 people attended, with live music by Chris Ballini, Rich Ortiz, Tequila
Mockingbirds, No Outlet, Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, Stony Creek Band,
Alan Payette Band, Ramblin Jug Stompers, and Dirt Cheap.

Come celebrate the Father's Day and the longest day of the year aboard Lake George’s luxury cruise boat,
The Adirondac! This
event includes a cruise along the lake, finger foods from area
restaurants,
live music, raffle prizes, and a silent auction with items and
certificates from local businesses. Boarding at 4 pm, cruise from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

Black Velvet Art Party
The Black Velvet Art Party:
The 21st annual Black Velvet Art Party
will take place on Saturday, November 7th, 2009, at Roaring Brook Ranch, Lake
George, NY. The fundraiser is a celebration of black velvet art. Artists
donate new, original works of art for the party’s silent
auction. This funky formal features awards for original black velvet art
and attire, live music, dancing, games, psychic readings, and more! All
proceeds from the event support the Courthouse Gallery exhibition series.
