Proceeds
from the following fund-raising events help support the Lake George Arts
Project's many programs. These programs are presented free to the public and
include the Summer Concert Series in
Shepard
Park,
the Lake George Jazz Weekend, various workshops and presentations,
and the
Courthouse Gallery exhibition series.

2010 Award Winners |
Hot chili and hot music
was celebrated at the 19th annual Bands 'n Beans at Roaring Brook
Ranch in Lake George on Sunday, March 7, 2010.. Over 50 restaurants and individuals
competed in a chili cooking contest. Each of the 1000 or so
attendees voted for their favorite chili in both the restaurant and
individual categories. Bands 'n Beans has become the biggest party of
the year in the north country, a sign of winter’s end and the beginning of
spring. The music
lineup for 2010 included
Chris Ballini, Rich Ortiz
& Friends, Tequila Mockingbirds, Stony Creek Band, Alan Payette Band, Jim
Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, Chain Lightning, Folding Sky, Phil Camp, and
Big Medicine.

Spring Fling!
Spring Fling at the Adirondack Pub &
Brewery in Lake George on Sunday, April 25,
from 3 to 7 PM.
The menu will feature roast pork prepared by chef Ed Pagnotta of the
Barnsider Restaurant. Live Music by Tequila Mockingbirds.
The 1st 100 attendees will receive a special commemorative
pint beer glass!

Come celebrate the solstice season aboard Lake George’s luxury cruise boat,
The Adirondac! This
event includes a cruise along the lake, finger foods from area
restaurants,
live music, raffle prizes, and a silent auction with items and
certificates from local businesses. Boarding at 6:30 pm, cruise from 7 to 9 pm.

The 21st annual Black Velvet Art Party
took place on Saturday, November 7th, 2009, at Roaring Brook Ranch, Lake
George, NY. The fundraiser is a celebration of black velvet art. Artists
donated new, original works of art for the party’s silent
auction. The Theme for 2009 was "FLY"...
This funky formal featured awards for original black velvet art
and attire, live music by Pop Rock Circus, dancing, games, psychic readings, and more! All
proceeds from the event support the Courthouse Gallery exhibition series.
