Supporting and Promoting the
Arts in the Lake George Region
The Lake George Arts Project is also known for its
creative and diverse fund raising events which include the Black Velvet
Art Party in November; Bands and Beans, a chili and music fest in March;
The Summer Sunset Cruise aboard the Adirondac on Lake George in June; a
golf tournament in September; and a variety of other events. Admission
to the Courthouse Gallery, Jazz Weekend, Summer Concerts, and many
special events are free to the public.

The Lake George Arts Project invites regional and national,
emerging and established artists to send exhibition proposals to
the Courthouse Gallery. Preference is given to experimental or
non-traditional work created in the last two years.

Sunday, March 4th, 2 - to 7
pm. Chili and music festival at Roaring Brook Ranch, Lake
George, NY. Over 50 restaurants and individuals will compete in
a chili cooking contest. Bands 'n Beans has become the biggest
party of the year in the north country, a sign of winter’s end
and the beginning of spring. Music lineup: TBA.

The Lake George Arts Project is planning the 3rd Annual Peoples
Pixel Project, A video festival featuring
original video shorts. The Screening
Ceremony takes place on April 1, 2012, at the Charles Wood Theater in Glens
Falls, NY.
The deadline for submitting DVDs is December 30, 2011. For
