Courthouse Gallery Online Event And Intro To Our Current Exhibiting Artists

The Courthouse Gallery is temporarily closed due to public health mandates related to COVID 19. Until further notice we will not have regular gallery hours and will not host any receptions or meetings, but we do plan to continue presenting the work of our selected artists.

In keeping with our mission, we are researching new ways to support our artists, and exploring alternate ways for you to experience their work remotely.

Our next exhibition runs from May 9 – June 12, 2020: Sculpture by Lee Malerich and Paintings by Michael Van Winkle. This exhibition will be installed in the gallery through June 12, with hopes we can reassess the situation as restrictions are eventually lifted, possibly allowing for pre-scheduled gallery visits for individuals, or very small groups.

In place of a Gallery Reception on Saturday, May 9, 2020,  The Lake George Arts Project’s Courthouse Gallery presented an online talk with exhibiting artists Lee Malerich and Michael Van Winkle.  Please CLICK HERE  for information on how to view our virtual event.

In addition, please follow these links to a brief slideshow film about each artist and their work:

Please stay tuned for updates on our spring and summer schedule.  We continue review and evaluate our plans for Summer Concerts and Jazz Weekend in Shepard Park, as well as our outdoor fundraising events: Golf Tournament at Cronin’s and Shoreline Cruise’s Summer Cruise. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 news and adhere to CDC guidelines with respect to social distancing and limits on public gatherings.

The Lake George Arts Project’s FREE and Open to All music and art programs do rely on support from our community. If you are able to help, please DONATE Here.

Please join us in taking extra precautions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19: sanitize diligently, wash hands regularly, and stay home!
