There is no better time than 2020 to get the Peoples Pixel Project back up and running! 2020 has not only provided artists inspiration, but has also changed what inspires artists and how organizations, like us, present programs in non-traditional ways. The first step in reinvigorating the Peoples Pixel Project is to give it a new look – so we’ve launched the P3: Peoples Pixel Project Logo Design Contest!
We are asking artists, graphic designers and illustrators to design a new logo for the Peoples Pixel Project that embodies both the program (as a unique opportunity for videographers to showcase their work) and The Lake George Arts Project as one of the most active arts-based organizations in the region. Participation in the P3 Logo Design Contest is open to anybody!
The selected work will become our new logo for the program. The artist will receive a $250 stipend and recognition for their work
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and print. Including a png, jpeg, eps, and pdf files.
Submitting Your Work
We are NOT requiring artists to submit final files for consideration. Please email, as an attachment, a full-color sketch / draft of your design idea to [email protected]. Include in the content or your email: your name, an artist statement or bio, and a brief statement about what inspired your design.
Why just a sketch or draft? We value an artist’s time and work. We will also work closely with the winning artist to fine tune their design.
The winner of the Peoples Pixel Project logo design contest will be selected by a panel of artists and arts professionals. The winner will be notified and asked to develop the final files that will be used for online and print promotion of this year’s program.
