Years ago, The Lake George Arts Project offered a Collector’s Club artwork subscription program. In its original form, members could sign up, donate at a certain level and would receive works of original art for their collections. It has always been our mission to provide income and exposure opportunities for artists. We have been brainstorming how best we can continue to fulfill that critical component of our mission while our gallery is closed and while we are canceling public events. Enter the NEW Collector’s Club.
The NEW Collector’s Club is a fundraiser and artwork sales program and has 5 goals:
1. Connect artists with collectors
2. Connect business and individuals with the artists in their communities
3 Support artists by providing exposure and income opportunities when they may need it most
4. Help support Lake George Arts Project operations
5. Communicate the importance of the arts, and supporting the arts, to the broader community
Very simply, artists submit their work, we develop an online catalogue, promote the program, and encourage sales. We will then coordinate artwork delivery (by the artists and to the collector) and write a check for the work to the artist. Artists will receive 60% of the sales from their work and The Arts Project will receive 40%. We hope funds raised through the Collector’s Club program will help support the work of regional artists while also helping us by supporting operations while our gallery is closed and our programs and fundraising events are being cancelled. We imagine if artists and purchasers enjoy, and participate in the program, it could become a permanent part of our offerings.

Step 3: Email your images to [email protected] (images should be high resolution and titled: LastName_FirstName_ArtworkTitle – this will help us as we are organizing the files!)
The Collector’s Club is open to artists working in all mediums – sculpture and fine-craft artisans too!
